Wild Fig: The Scent of a Warm Garden After Rain
There is a particular quality to the air in a garden after rain.
The earth gives something back — a warmth, a greenness, a fullness that has been building all day in the heat. Fig trees especially. The leaves release something almost milky, almost wild. The fruit, heavy and just past ripe, carries a sweetness that has nothing sweet about it. It is earthy. It is real.
Wild Fig is our attempt to hold that moment in a room.
The Scent
Wild Fig opens with ripe fig and a flash of grapefruit — immediate, green, slightly tart. Within minutes the heart emerges: jasmine and cyclamen soften the edges, with orris adding a powdery, almost skin-like quality that makes the fragrance feel deeply personal.
The base is where Wild Fig earns its name. Cedarwood and palo santo bring a dry, smoky grounding. Coconut adds an unexpected creaminess — not sweet, but warm. The effect is a fragrance that feels simultaneously wild and comforting. Outdoors and indoors at once.

Why Wild Fig Works in a Home
Wild Fig is our most versatile fragrance. It sits comfortably in almost any room and appeals to almost any nose — which is why it consistently sits at the top of our collection.
In a living room, the cedar and palo santo base gives it presence without being heavy. In a bathroom, the grapefruit and fig opening feels clean and natural. In a bedroom, the jasmine heart and creamy base create something grounding and restful.
It is also one of the most genuinely unisex fragrances in our range. Neither floral nor woody in the traditional sense — it lives in a space of its own.
The Istanbul Connection
Fig trees are everywhere in Istanbul. They grow from walls, from the edges of old courtyards, along the Bosphorus shoreline. The fig is as much a part of the city's sensory identity as the smell of salt water or the warmth of spice markets.
When we built Wild Fig, we were thinking about those trees — ancient, resilient, planted in old stone. The fragrance is not a recreation of a fig fruit. It is a recreation of a place: damp earth, warm wood, green air.
How to Build a Wild Fig Ritual
Wild Fig runs across our full home and body range. The layering combinations below create a complete, immersive experience.
- For the home: The Reed Diffuser keeps Wild Fig in the background continuously — effortless and ambient. The Candle deepens it for evenings, adding warmth from the cedar and coconut base.
- For the body: The Hand & Body Wash opens with fig and grapefruit in the shower. The Lotion anchors it on skin, and the Eau de Cologne layers over the top — the palo santo base means it lasts far longer than a cologne applied alone.
- For gifting: The Candle and Hand Cream is our most-gifted Wild Fig combination. Beautifully packaged, practical, and broad in appeal.
Who Wild Fig Is For
The customer who chooses Wild Fig usually knows what they want: something grounded, something real, something that does not smell like everything else on the shelf. They are drawn to nature without wanting potpourri. They want their home to smell like somewhere they would actually want to be.
Wild Fig is also our most reliable first gift — broad enough to suit almost any recipient, distinctive enough to feel considered.
